Quotations are valid for 30 days and are inclusive of GST.

Delivery fees may be charged for events 20km from CBD and will be detailed in the quote.

Minimum charges do apply and will be detailed in the event that these charges are not met. If you have a small function, talk to us about some ideas to meet the minimum charge and maximise your value.

A Deposit of 25% is required to confirm a booking and is payable within 14 days to maintain the booking.

The Small Food Caterers reserves the right to decline any function that is not confirmed.

Payment of the deposit confirms you have read, understood and accepted all the terms and conditions.

The menu and all required services must be finalised 14 days prior to the event. The final number guests must be finalised 7 days prior to the event.

An invoice will be submitted 7 days prior to the event confirm all final requirements.

Reduction in final numbers greater than 10% of original booking will be charged at 50% of the cost per head to cover costs incurred.

Final payment is required prior to the event.

If paying by cheque, allow 7 working days prior to the event to allow the cheque to clear.

If using direct debit, allow 72 hours prior to allow transaction to be complete prior to the event.

Cash on the day is acceptable if requested in advance.

Credit cards are not accepted.

If final payment is not made, the Small Food Caterers has the right to delay service until payment is made.

A cheque at this point may not be accepted.

All staff, if required, are to be provided by the Small Food Caterers to ensure the highest level of service and quality control.

When SFC staff are responsible for serving alcohol, minors and intoxicated guest will not be served

Cancellation made within 72 hours of the event will still incur the full quoted cost of catering.

Cancellation made within 3 and 7 days of the event will still incur a total of 50% of the quoted cost of catering.

Cancellation made before 7 days of the event will incur the cost of the deposit paid.

Replacement cost will be charged for all equipment, broken, damaged or stolen from the event.

A deposit for equipment damage may be requested for functions requiring the hiring of equipment.

The Small Food Caterers prepare all food in accordance with the food standards set by Food Standards Australia.

Whilst all care is taken in relation to food allergies and intolerances advised to us by our clients, due to the fact that our kitchens prepare all food types, we take no responsibility for any adverse reaction by any guest to the food prepared by us.

All food is prepared in our central kitchen and, in some cases, also prepared, plated, etc, in various function venue kitchens. Whilst all effort will be made to prevent mixing the organiser must be totally aware and accept that by consuming food prepared in these kitchens that allergens may be present from previous functions.

Whilst we understand the importance of this and will endeavour to be careful not to cross contaminate your food, the Small Food Caterers will not accept responsibility for an adverse reaction to our food by any guest.

The Small Food Caterers does not operate a nut-free kitchen.

With the exception of Celebration Cakes, no food of any kind will be permitted to be bought in for consumption at the function by the organiser or the organiser’s guests.

The Small Food Caterers reserve the right to remove all leftover food to ensure health and safety is maintained.

The Small Food Caterers will provide the appropriate licenses.

Late application fees will apply if commitment to service is less than 3 weeks prior to the event.

The Small Food Caterers commits to ensure the supply of listed drinks for the period of time committed.

The balance of alcohol transported to the event will be returned back to the Small Food Caterers and not considered leftovers for the customer.
